Yoga for Stress, Anxiety, & Depression (SAD) in Duluth
A workshop intensive for yoga teachers, therapists, healthcare providers and caregivers of all kinds to learn the powerful tools of yoga philosophy and gentle physical practices for managing the disease of stress.
Stress – it seems to be everywhere and everyone is talking about it. For some of us stress takes on a fundamentally darker cloak and manifests in depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic pain, complex trauma and PTSD.
Discover & Learn The Yogic View:
• Yogic philosophy and principles for overcoming the diseases of stress from a multilayered approach that integrates body, mind and the unique essence of each person.
• The bodies response to stress and how to recognize and release some of the physical habits that lead to the cumulative effects of stress.
• Tools to build a foundation for emotional stability and happiness.
Through the various practices of yoga, we can learn how to find a calm center in the midst of stress, anxiety, depression, or PTSD and the events that may contribute to these.
