We are committed to your systematic development in postures, breath, meditation, and towards the goal of knowing yourself.
Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute in Duluth, Minnesota – known for Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy Certification – uses a progressive approach using SomaYoga and therapeutic yoga, bridging these techniques back to classic postures.
We provide yoga classes in a variety of styles – with more than 20 weekly classes and over a dozen instructors, there is a class to serve everyone – from pain resolution to athletic performance.

We are honored to be an accredited school for Yoga Therapy Training

 We are one of 12 schools in the entire world to receive this esteemed accreditation. Our next Yoga Therapy Training begins Sept. 27th. To learn more click on the Teacher Training tab. There you will also find information about out 200 hour training and our Advanced 500 hour training.  

Beginning Yoga  

Tuesdays, 7- 8:15 pm. Runs from Sept. 30th-Nov. 18th.  Registration required.

Laughter Yoga

Thursday, 7-8:15 pm, open class price.  Experience more happiness, energy and joy with this fun class.  This class uses breath practices and different laughing patterns to cultivate more joy!

Community Mendhi

Friday, 3-7 pm, sliding fee.  Mendhi is the art of decorating the body with temporary henna body art.  This art lasts for about two weeks and is a fun way to celebrate or symbolize something in your life your are wishing to honor or manifest.  By appt. only.  Call the office to schedule a time at 722-YOGA

Partner Yoga

Friday, 7-9 pm, $30/couple.  Come and enjoy this experimental twist on Yogi Date Night.  The form of this class will be free flow.  Each set of partners will be supported in coming up with thai massage or partner yoga solutions to areas of pain, tension, and stiffness being held in their bodies.  Only one person needs to register to reserve a spot for two people.  Taught by Margaret Harstad.

Chair Yoga @ Hope Church

Tuesdays, 5:15-6:15 pm, Oct. 7th-Dec. 9th.  This gentle class will also involve some standing poses.  Learn to strengthen, reduce pain, increase balance, strength, and stability.  Appropriate for people of all abilities.  Taught by Catharine Larson.  $87.50, $70 for members of Hope Church.

Breath for Wellness

Friday, Oct. 10th, 7-9 pm, $30.  Breathing correctly is important for living longer and key to having a good mood and performing at your best.  In this workshop we will look at the benefits of breathing, how to breath correctly, and explore various breath practices.  Taught by Ann Maxwell.  ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT!
